Our green heated studio offers classes in temperatures from 80 – 105 degrees with and without humidity. There is something for everyone at The Yoga Room.
Functional Range Conditioning
FRC (Functional Range Conditioning) is a system of training applying scientific methods to the maintenance and acquisition of functional mobility, articular resilience, and articular health and longevity. It also improves the function of your nervous system leading to a reduction of pain and injury.
Functional Flow is ground based mindful movement, made challenging and effective. It combines with elements of flexibility, martial arts, calisthenics and animal locomotion. Classes are designed to improve strength, power, flexibility, mobility, and coordination for all levels of fitness enthusiasts.
Setting yourself free from the stability of the earth to seek stability through your own strength. Aerial Fly allows your to deepen your mobility by working with deep stabilizing tissues of the body and end range performance. With suspension training, it creates more space in the body assisting in elasticity and plasticity tissue properties. Moving in and out of the silks will increase proprioception, embody trust and embrace inner creativity!
Suitable for all levels. A restful, calming class including breathing, gentle flowing movements, passive and supported poses. This is a perfect beginning yoga class that is also appropriate for those working with injury, limited mobility, or who prefer a softer, gentler approach to yoga.
Suitable for all levels. In this transformation style of yoga we practice asana in a moving meditation, linking poses with the flow of the breath, music, mantra & yoga philosophy. Apractice of effort and easewe move at a steady pace building heat, endurance, flexibility & strength and ultimately, inner stillness.
A full-body Hatha Practice in the heat with flow, arm balances, inversions and progressive posture variations through creative sequencing. Promotes detoxification and stamina.
A high intensity heated Vinyasa Flow choreographed to inspiring music. Powerful flow for 50 minutes followed by 10 minute extended Shavasana.
Appropriate for all ages, body shapes and fitness levels. This class focuses on proper alignment, functional movement, good posture and spinal health. Time will also be given to work on balance, strength, stability, mobility and relaxation. Dynamic movements will be combined with static holds of yoga poses. Yoga props like the wall, straps, blocks and bolsters will be explored to help students experience new ways of doing poses and to also assist by giving alternatives to poses so that everyone is successful on the mat.
Suitable for all levels. This class provides a combination of healthy alignment with freedom to play within familiar and new poses by adding playful & creative ways to approach traditional asana. From beginners to seasoned practitioners, this class hopes to broaden the range of capabilities of each person through the instruction of alignment and breath.
