The Yoga Room at Body Tech

Behind the door of The Yoga Room you will find an oasis of experiences to energize, exercise and harmonize your mind, body, and spirit. Here at the Yoga Room we offer classes, programs, workshops and events that will meet and exceed your expectations. The south suburbs jewel yoga studio. Our green heated studio offers classes in temperatures from 80 – 105 degrees with and without humidity. There is something for everyone at The Yoga Room.

Yoga Classes

Youth Mobility & Flexibility

Improve mobility and allow refined performance in specific movements (squatting, lunging, etc) without compensation from other areas (specifically the lumbar spine and knees).

Hot Series

A true blend of core, stability, strength, and flexibility…Hot Series combines the hypoxic conditioning, detoxifying qualities of 26 staple postures. Also with the intensity of power flow to help you deepen your practice.

Aerial Yoga

Setting yourself free from the stability of the earth to explore the stability of the heart. Aerial yoga allows you to deepen your mobility by awakening the deep stabilizing muscles as you begin to move in suspension. It creates more space in the body by the use of gravity to increase fascial elasticity and plasticity properties. Moving in and out of the silks will deepen proprioception, embody a trust within the self and embrace an inner creativity.

Slow Flow

Hatha yoga and traditional flow class designed for all levels. Sun salutations and traditional Hatha movements. During the practice, we will be adding pranayama breathing techniques that will help us to go deeper into the practice. Medium heated class.

vinyasa-flow

Vinyasa

Suitable for all levels. In this transformation style of yoga we practice asana in a moving meditation, linking poses with the flow of the breath, music, mantra & yoga philosophy. Apractice of effort and easewe move at a steady pace building heat, endurance, flexibility & strength and ultimately, inner stillness.

yoga-for-athletes

Power Flow

Traditional Sun Salutations with guided breathing practice at the end to recover / Power Flow can be combined with strength training and cardio. (weights are optional).

Hot Strength & Flow

This class is designed to help you build strength as you use your body weight through strength and cardio movements. adding the traditional yoga Vinyasa flows to make your workout and work in practice complete. breathing practice at the end to have a full recovery. all levels are welcome as we offer modifications and variations.
